Away not alone: Screenplay

INT. Ollies  room - Morning. White sunlight beams through a gap in the curtains, Camera panes down to the bed and shows an unmade bed. Close Up of tap as its turned on, then a POV of bowl of Breakfast being made, low angle close up of the shower turning on, wardrobe opening. Show Ollie sitting on the bed and starting to work. Transitions to midday while the camera remains in the same position aimed at the computer.  High angle of Ollies  computer as he loads up discord. computer POV of  Ollies  computer as he puts a headset on and joins a discord call. Ollie (joyfully) Hello lads. POV of FINS and Meleks computers as they both respond. FIN (bored) Hey. Melek (tired) Hi. INT. About a girl About a girl is a social realism short film about film set in 2001 about a girl (obviously) and her family and friends who live on a council estate and are quite deprived, this short film and fish tank are very similar following a young girl who wants to become famous and make a living from there talent as a singer/ dancer and they use this dream to escape there current living situation. However About a girl is allot more explicit than Fish tank and has a larger cliff hanger, which in my opinion is good as it makes the audience want more. The dark and explicit turn when she throws the baby in the river shifts the tone of the project from a girl who dreams to one day to become famous to a girl who dreams to escape the harsh and cruel reality she lives in, this scene also adds a layer of sadness to her stories when she is reminiscing on the way to the canal thinking of better times and not focusing on the present.
